Hold Fast Cycling 4 Piston Metallic Brake Pads for SRAM Guide Brakes

Our SRAM Guide Brake Pads come in two awe-inspiring compounds: Ceramic and Metallic. These are a direct replacement for several of SRAM’s 4-piston brakes. One set includes an inner pad and outer pad for one brake caliper. See the list below for a complete list of compatible brakes.

• Softer compound provides better initial bite than metallic.
• Very quiet in use.
• Quick and easy to bed in.
• Less brake fade than resin pads.
• Not as strong in wet conditions but still offer great initial bite.
• Shorter lifespan than metallic but longer than resin.

• Harder compound with less initial bite but maximum stopping power under heavy load.
• Long lasting.
• Take longer to bed in.
• Can be noisy when wet.
• Excellent heat transfer – better on long downhills.
• Perform well in cold, wet, and muddy conditions.

Don’t be afraid to mix and match!
Metallic up front + Ceramic in the rear is a popular setup.
If you ride long hills → choose Metallic.
If you ride flatter terrain → choose Ceramic.
