You will receive two SRAM hydraulic disc brakes in OEM packaging with 2000mm uncut hose lengths.
Hoses are uncut (2000mm) and can be trimmed to your desired length.
Levers are ambidextrous and can be used on either the left or right side.
Suitable for front or rear installation.
You will receive exactly what is shown in the photos.
Listed as “New – Other” because they do not include:
Original retail packaging
Owner’s manuals
Brake lever clamps for handlebar mounting
Professional installation is strongly recommended.
You will need to purchase two SRAM barbs if you cut the hoses to length.
The SRAM Red olives are included and are located inside the two red plastic pieces (shown in the 1st and 4th photos).
Although factory-bled, it is good practice to bleed the brakes after installation to ensure optimal performance.
Both levers feature Stealth-a-majig™ technology to help reduce fluid loss during hose installation.
Be sure to properly tighten the brake hose compression nut to allow fluid to flow correctly through the system.
If the brake lever cannot be pulled after installation, review a Stealth-a-majig™ installation/troubleshooting video for guidance.
Additional Parts NeededYou will need to purchase two SRAM Disc Brake Lever Clamps to mount these brakes to your handlebar. Clamps are not included.
Example compatible part:
SRAM Part #11.5315.048.070
SRAM offers multiple clamp versions, so please verify compatibility with your specific setup before purchasing.
Professional Installation Recommended
I strongly recommend having these brakes installed by a bike shop or trained mechanic.
You will need to purchase two SRAM barbs in order to install the brakes after cutting the hoses to your desired length.
The SRAM Red olives are included and are located inside the two red plastic pieces (shown in the 1st and 4th photos). These will be included with your purchase.
Although the brakes have been factory-bled, it is good practice to bleed them again after installation to ensure optimal performance.
Both levers feature Stealth-a-majig™ technology, which is designed to help prevent fluid leakage during hose installation.
Be sure to properly tighten the brake hose compression nut to allow hydraulic fluid to flow correctly through the system.
If, after installation, the brake lever cannot be pulled, I recommend watching a video about SRAM’s Stealth-a-majig™ technology for troubleshooting guidance.
Again, professional installation is recommended, as a trained mechanic will already be familiar with these procedures.
